This short film produced as part of Pipal Tree’s Climate Change Education and Awareness Programme was directed by Bhagath Singh from Tamilnadu. The film focuses on the livelihood crisis endured by the Pattinavars , an indigenous fishing community of Pazaverkadu village. It showcases the irreversible damage done by the so called developmental projects which has wiped out the age old profession of the fisher-folks and has ultimately forced them to look for other temporary jobs to earn bread for the family. The language is Tamil subtitled in English. The duration of the film is 18 minutes 22 seconds.
